Alex Mannella

Alex Mannella is a Partner at Diamond who has helped clients in the telecommunications, gaming, financial services, tax preparation, airline, public sector, health care, consumer products, and pharmaceutical industries. Alex is an expert on the issues of customer value management (CVM), response modeling, database marketing, and data mining. He has extensive experience in developing response and segmentation algorithms for marketing organizations of varying sizes, database development, and the use of artificial intelligence (Neural Nets and Genetic Algorithms) and time series techniques for data mining studies. In addition, Alex is the co-founded and co-leads Diamond’s Information and Analytics Center (DIAC) located in Mumbai, India.

Alex’s recent client work includes working for a national fiber optic carrier where he developed the branding and positioning strategy that the carrier went to market with. For a national wireless service provider, Alex help design, develop and implement a test environment for the launching of outbound campaigns across multiple channels (DM, SMS, Call Center, etc). While working for one of the largest freight carriers in the US, Alex played a critical role in the redesign of their traditional hub and spoke system for the routing and optimization of flight routes in order to work in the A300 aircraft into the fleet. Additionally, Alex helped one of North America’s largest airline carrier’s develop their senior citizen loyalty program. His responsibilities included segmentation, response modeling, assistance in creative design based on model outcomes, and ROI calculations.
